Celebrate World Cocktail Day with this Seppeltsfield Road Distillers version of a classic – the Botanical Fashioned.

Traditionally, an old fashioned is a cocktail made by muddling sugar with bitters, adding whiskey or, less commonly, brandy, and garnishing with a twist of citrus rind. The name comes from being served in an ‘old fashioned’ glass.

The ‘Botanical Fashioned’ uses our Savoury Allsorts gin, to create a herbaceous, complex, and beautifully balanced cocktail, perfect for sipping this World Cocktail Day!

Ingredients

• 60ml – Seppeltsfield Rd Distillers ‘Savoury Allsorts’ Gin
• 15ml – Agave Syrup
• 2 drops – Angosutra Bitters
• 1x Orange Rind for Garnish

Method

1. Add all ingredients over ice in a mixing glass, stir for 30 secs.
2. Strain into a tumbler over fresh ice.
3. Strain the shaken mix into a chilled glass.
4. Garnish with a thick twist of orange rind – twist over cocktail and rim glass with rind before dropping into cocktail.
5. Relax and enjoy!
