To round out and farewell Negroni Week, we decided we’d leave you with one of our favourite Negroni Recipes, the Deep Negroni, using our 2020 Barossa Shiraz Gin.
This cocktail is deep with rich flavours, yet holds a bitter-sweet finish. While smooth it also warms the soul.
30mL 2020 Barossa Shiraz Gin
30mL Maidenii Classic Vermouth (or another Dry Vermouth)
30mL Adelaide Hills Bitter Orange (or Campari)
Orange rind for garnish
Pour the Gin, Bitters, and Vermouth into a mixing glass or jug with ice.
Stir well until the outside of the glass feels cold.
Double strain into a tumbler with fresh ice.
Twist/express the rind and rub around the rim before garnishing your Negroni to serve.
