With the release of our 2021 vintage of Barossa Shiraz Gin, the team were excited to get their hands on a bottle for cocktail play.
“Murder on the Cellar Floor” embraces Seppeltsfield Rd Distillers destroying the traditional concept of Barossa Shiraz by turning it into a gin. The 2021 vintage in Barossa will go down in history as one to be remembered and the quality of Shiraz from Stonewell Vineyards and our mate David Lehmann was to be envied and could’ve made some amazing wine. BUT WE MADE GIN!!
Murder on the Cellar Floor has the bright refreshing citrus characters from the grapefruit & lime, with the added textural sweetness that only Shiraz Gin and agave syrup can provide.
Refreshing and moreish is all we can really say…
45 ml Shiraz Gin
30 ml Yellow Grapefruit Juice
15 ml Lime Juice
15 ml Agave Syrup
All ingredients in a shaker on ice.
For approximately 20 seconds.
Fine strain into a tumbler of fresh ice & garnish with a twist of yellow grapefruit rind.
