A Barossa Valley adaption on the classic British cocktail known as a Bramble. Seppeltsfield Road Distillers have encapsulated spring, sunshine and good times in refreshing, bright cocktail, perfect for sipping in the sunshine with your closest friends.
Traditionally the Bramble is a balance between bright citrus, dark berries (blackberry), and confectionary sweetness (Crème deMure/Chambord).
Mixing the Chambord with the Shiraz Gin adds layers of complexity, and takes this cocktail to another level.
30mL Savoury Allsorts Gin
20mL Barossa Shiraz Gin
5mL Chambord
30mL Lemon Juice
15mL Sugar Syrup
Lemon Peel
Place ice, Savoury Allsorts Gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup in a cocktail shaker.
Shake ingredients for approx. 30 seconds until well mixed and cold.
Double-strain into a stemless wine glass over fresh ice.
Pour Shiraz Gin & Chambord into the glass.
Garnish with lemon peel and fresh blueberries.
Enjoy.
