The wins keep on coming for Seppeltsfield Road Distillers with our latest gin, Native Ground, achieving ‘Master’ status at The Global Spirits Masters Competition 2022.
Released in November 2021, the Native Ground Gin, Seppeltsfield Road Distillers’ ode to Australiana, has been judged as a standout in the Contemporary category achieving the highest medal at this year’s awards with additional accolades for the Musician’s Cut and House Gin (Silver in Contemporary) and 2021 Barossa Shiraz Gin (gold in Flavoured).
This latest global recognition is another in a long line of recent successes for the SRD team, including outstanding results at the International Wine & Spirits Competition in the UK where the 2021 Barossa Shiraz Gin was the first gin to be awarded 99-points.
Head Distiller, Nicole Durdin said the team is thrilled with the latest recognition that reinforces Seppeltsfield Road Distillers commitment to producing exceptional and quality products.
“It’s been a big year and one we are especially proud of following the success of the 2021 Barossa Shiraz Gin and the release of the Musicians Cut and Native Ground,” said Nicole.
“We’re committed to evolving and growing our range while staying true to who we are and what we’re about ….. crafting gins using high quality ingredients to showcase real flavours with every sip.”
The Native Ground Gin is inspired by native botanicals and celebrates the flavours naturally found in the Australian landscape with native peppermint box (sourced directly from the Marananga tasting room site), Tasmanian pepperberry, Western Australia wax flower, finger lime and lemon myrtle.
