‘Orange Rhubarb Delight’ | Cocktail Recipe

Spring is nearly upon us, and our Orange Rhubarb Delight is the perfect cocktail to sip on the Seppeltsfield Road Distillers deck, whilst basking in the sunshine.

Ingredients
  • 45mL Barossa Dry Gin
  • 15ml Lemon Juice
  • 30ml Rhubarb, Orange, & Fennel Syrup
    • Rhubarb
    • Orange
    • Fennel
    • Simple Syrup (1:1)
Method
Rhubarb, Orange, & Fennel Syrup
  1. Simmer 2 pieces of orange peel for 2 minutes in a simple (1:1) sugar syrup.
  2. Remove the orange peel and place in chopped fennel pieces and rhubarb.
  3. Simmer for a further 10 minutes.
  4. Let cool before using in cocktail.
Cocktail
  1. Add ice, gin, juice, syrup and piece of orange rind into shaker.
  2. Shake vigorously for 30 secs.
  3. Double strain into a cocktail tumbler over fresh ice.
  4. Garnish with a Orange rind.
