Today we decided to celebrate a new Negroni combination for day three using our limited release 2020 Semi-Gin.
Sticking with the standard three-ingredient formula, our Semi-Gin Negroni replaces sweet vermouth with classic vermouth (the Semi-Gin provides enough sweetness) and switches Campari with South Australian distillers, Imperial Measures’ Ruby Bitters for bright and complex bitter-sweet balance.
1. Pour the Semi-Gin, Vermouth and Ruby Bitters into a mixing glass or jug with ice. Stir well until the outside of the glass feels cold.
2. Double strain into a tumbler with fresh ice.
3. Express/twist a lime peel over the glass, rub the peel around the rim and then garnish your Negroni to serve.
