South Australia is fast becoming the ‘spirits state’, with many of Australia’s finest spirit producers calling SA home. With this in mind, we decided that Negroni Week, Day 5 would be dedicated to a South Australian Negroni!
Using Ruby Bitters from Imperial Measures Distilling, Vermouth from Adelaide Hills Distillery, and of course, our award-winning House Gin, the South Australian Negroni is big, bright and a beautiful showcase of South Australia’s premium producers.
Or quite simply, it’s “Heaps Good!”
1. Pour the Gin, Bitters, and Vermouth into a mixing glass or jug with ice. Stir well until the outside of the glass feels cold.
2. Double strain into a tumbler with fresh ice.
3. Twist/express the orange peel and rub around the rim before garnishing your Negroni to serve.
