Spruced Up Tea is a bright little number with a cosy tea-time soul and just the right amount of mischief.
Native Ground Gin lays down a savoury, earthy base, while SRD Vermouth adds depth and the crème brûlée tea syrup brings soft vanilla, caramel and tannic tea warmth.
A couple of dashes of orange bitters sharpen the edges before Mediterranean tonic lifts it into something crisp, aromatic and refreshing. Finished with dried chilli, it’s smooth, spiced and nicely spruced up.
INGREDIENTS
• 30ml Native Ground Gin
• 15ml Vermouth SRD
• 30ml Crème Brulè Tea syrup
• 2x drops Orange Bitters
• Top with Med Tonic
METHOD
1. Fill mixing glass with ice. Add all ingredients.
2. Stir for 15-20 seconds
3. Julep strain into glass with ice & garnish with dried chilli
