A salty, savoury twist on your classic gin martini. Made with Seppeltsfield Rd Distillers' Native Ground Gin and a cheeky splash of brine, it’s all warm, peppery vibes with a hint of lemon myrtle for that little something extra. It’s winter in a glass; with a savoury edge you didn’t know you needed. Perfect for cosy nights, served with salty snacks (potato chips for us!) and for anyone that loves their martinis a bit dirty (and a little wild).
Ingredients:
60ml SRD Native Ground Gin
10ml SRD Vermouth
2 small Lemon Myrtle Leaves (bruised slightly)
2 small spoons of Olive Brine
Small pinch of salt
Method:
Take out martini glass and fill with ice.
Fill your mixing glass with ice. Over the ice add the gin, vermouth, small pinch of salt and two small spoons of olive brine.
Clap the lemon myrtle leaves between your palms to bruise slightly and add to the mixing glass.
Stir ingredients on ice for 30 seconds.
Throw away the ice in the martini glass and strain the martini into the glass.
Garnish with one live and a lemon myrtle leaf. Enjoy!
