The sweet tropical notes of mango mingle beautifully with the herbaceous lift of fresh basil and a splash of citrus, creating a cocktail that’s both refreshing and full of character.

Best enjoyed on the deck with good company and golden hour light.

Ingredients

•    60ml gin (we recommend Seppeltsfield Road Distillers House Gin)
•    4–6 fresh basil leaves
•    60ml fresh mango purée
•    15ml fresh lemon juice
•    15ml simple syrup
•    Ice cubes
•    Soda water, to top

Method

1.    In a shaker, gently muddle the basil leaves to release their aroma.
2.    Add gin, mango purée, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
3.    Fill with ice and shake until well chilled.
4.    Double strain into an ice-filled glass (Large Tumbler)
5.    Top with soda water and stir gently.
6.    Garnish with a basil sprig
